So, I'm finally joining the blog-world, which is strange, considering that 6 months ago I didn't even know what a blog was. Then I moved to NYC, met the Spiders, and succumbed to the pressure. As soon as I figure it out, I'll post pictures and update everyone on what's keeping me busy here.
I knew it was time to get a blog when I experienced a truly embarrassing commute home today. I was just sitting there, listening to my ipod with my eyes closed, when the train stopped and I woke up long enough to notice a station. I jumped up, worried I couldn't make it through the crowd between the door and me, when the train lurched forward and I went flailing backward in unsturdy, high-heeled boots. I nearly crushed some unsuspecting woman's flowers before crushing her and her seatmate as they made an effort to stop me. I actually yelled out, "Oh, geese! Sorry!" Very loudly - I blame the headphones. I blushed eight shades of red and tried to stare at the ceiling as we continued on (because we weren't ever in the station, just stopped next to it), but I saw the smirks. Oy.
